Latest News   RAINBOW SUPPORT GROUP The Rainbow Support Group will meet every Sunday evening at 6:30.The Rainbow Support Group is for those effected by the floods and their families and friends. Refreshments will be served.     OUTDOOR SERVICE AND PICNIC Come join Our Savior’s for an outdoor service Sunday, June 29 at 10:00 AM. The service will be held at the east pavilion in Pleasant Creek State Park near Palo. Following the service will be a congregational picnic with games for children and adults. Bring your own meat to grill (grills provided), lawn chairs, table service and a dish to share. Drinks will be provided.    WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY Are you interested in attending a Bible Study group? Every Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 Pastor Jorgensen leads a study of the Bible. On July 2 the group will begin a study of the book of Amos. A second study group meets Wednesday from 11:00 – 1200. This study is based on the Gospel reading to be read the following Saturday and Sunday. Everyone is invited to come to share in the study of God’s Word.           Our Savior’sLutheran Church is joining with Marion 1st United Methodist Church to help in the flood relief/clean up program. The following items are needed:   * 5 gallon bucket with resealable lid                                    *waterless hand sanitizer *Bleach ( 2 quarts or 1 8 oz. bottle                                       *scouring pads *sponges                                                                                *scrub brush *cleaning towels (reusable wipes)              *Liquid laundry detergent (2-25 oz or 1-50 oz. bottle)       *dust masks *latex gloves                                                                          *work gloves *Heavy duty trash bags (33-45 gal.)                                    *Shovels *Wheelbarrows Items may be brought to Our Savior’s at 3643 1st Ave. NE Monday-Friday 9AM to noon; at Saturday services 5:30-6:30 or at Sunday services 9:30-10:30.   Kenwood Park Neighborhood Association’s Ice Cream Social will be held 5:00-7:00 July 14th at Kenwood Park, 36th St. NE Cedar Rapids. The public is invited to attend.
